Beef Barbecue

A barbecue with a zesty sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 lb Coleman Natural Beef™ Boneless Chuck Roast, cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Place pieces of chuck roast in a Dutch oven or large covered pan. Add onions and celery. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients, mix well, and pour over beef and vegetables. Bake covered, at 350 degrees F. for 3 hours. Shred the meat with a fork. Serve on warm hamburger buns.
