Southern Pecan-Chocolate Pie

A special dessert to serve at your Kentucky Derby party!

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 3/4 cup light corn syrup
• 2 Tbsp bourbon
• 1 tsp vanilla
• (1) 9" unbaked pie shell

Directions:

Use an electric mixer to cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt. Blend well. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans, and bourbon. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° F for 40 to 45 minutes.
