Fresh Berries

Simple and delicious! Serve "as is" spooned over
cake or ice cream or topped with a scoop of lemon sherbet or frozen yogurt.
Ingredients:
- 1 pint strawberries (about 1 lb), hulled and quartered
- 1 pint blueberries (about 3 cups), stems removed
- 1/2 pint raspberries (about 1.5 cups)
- 1.5 tsp grated lemon zest (yellow part of the peel)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Directions:
In a large glass bowl, combine berries. Sprinkle with lemon zest and sugar;
toss gently. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Makes 6-8 servings
