Hot Cranberry Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed tightly
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 quart cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice

Directions:

Combine brown sugar, water, spices, and salt. Bring to a boil. Add cranberry and pineapple juices; return to a boil. This punch can be served immediately, kept warm on simmer, or reheated to serve later.

Yields (8) 6 oz. servings
