Abbott initiated a proactive, voluntary recall of certain
Similac®-brand powder infant formulas. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that these products pose no serious health concerns to infants and toddlers; however, there is a remote possibility that consumption of product could cause diarrhea and/or nausea.
