Reason: The McKee Corporation is taking a precautionary measure and putting a hold on Little Debbie Peanut Butter Cheese Crackers and Peanut Butter Toasty Crackers. The FDA has indicated that the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) is under investigation in the salmonella outbreak thought to be caused by tainted peanut butter. PCA is one of several suppliers of peanut butter to McKee. The company has not received any consumer illness complaints, but they are urging you not to eat the product until the investigation has been conducted.
Health or Safety Concern: Voluntary hold- PCA Peanut Butter is under investigation concerning a salmonella outbreak.
