Roasting your Pumpkin Seeds
Fall is here, and it's time to start decorating — and what better way to do so than with pumpkins from Dorothy Lane Market! Ever tried toasting your own pumpkin seeds? We suggest mixing 1½ cups of pumpkin seeds (rinsed) with 2 tsp of melted butter or Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and your favorite seasoning. Simply spread seeds in a single layer on a greased baking sheet and bake at 300°F for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are golden brown. Voilà! They are ready for munching.
