Pasta Pomodoro Gluten Free
This is summer on a plate. You taste the sunshine in the homegrown tomatoes and basil this time of the year. Add a grilled DLM Chicken Breast and you have a great main dish!

Our next meeting is this Saturday, July 13 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the School of Cooking next door to the Washington Square store. You are invited to meet and learn from Chef Eric Braddock who owns and operates Eban Bakery near Columbus, Ohio. Eban Bakery is a gluten-free bakery specializing in breads, baked goods, and sweets. As you already know, these products are baked in small batches using all-natural and organic ingredients with no preservatives, additives, or any other "bad" stuff. They fly off the shelves with every delivery! My favorite is Seeded Bread with DLM Homemade Cheddar Pimento Spread. There will be plenty of delicious samples.
Ritrovo Selection Il Macchiaiolo 100% Gluten Free Penne
The rice flour penne pasta has a flavor and structure that is more delicate than its corn flour-based counterpart. Its rice flavor is almost pastry-like and outright irresistible to all pasta lovers. The corn flour penne pasta is extremely kitchen-friendly and has a polenta-like flavor that requires little other than tossing with extra-virgin olive oil and Parmigiano, and then baked with a little more Parm sprinkled on top. Moon Rabbit Foods GF Baking Mixes
When Mark Hetzel left the Four Seasons Resort Maui as their Executive Pastry Chef, he moved to North Carolina and began working with a company that developed a new gluten-free cassava flour. He used his expertise and passion for creating desserts for clientele with food allergies to help create the Moon Rabbit Foods line of baking and pastry mixes. Cassava flour is the ground root of the tapioca plant, making it more nutritious then tapioca flour which is made from the starch of the cassava plant. We loved the oatmeal cookies and couldn't stop eating them. Add your own raisins, cranberries, white chocolate, and Macadamia nuts for a unique twist. The Pie Dough Mix, Cornbread Mix, Biscuit & Scone Mix, Oatmeal Cookie Mix, and Pancake & Waffle Mix are all natural, and are also soy free and non-dairy. We have free products to be given away at the meeting this Saturday. Make a variety of dishes from your mixes with recipes from Moon Rabbit Foods.
Pillsbury® Gluten Free
The doughboy has finally made it gluten free! Now in the refrigerated Dairy case at ALL THREE LOCATIONS are Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Thin Crust Pizza, and my personal favorite, Piecrust & Pastry Dough. I make a toaster pastry that is almost indistinguishable from the conventional ones. I mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and just enough soft butter to make a paste and spread it in the middle of my rectangle of dough, leaving enough room to seal the edges. Then bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool at least 10 minutes on the cookie sheet. After they are completely cool, I frost them with The Frosting Queens’ Crowned Caramel Buttercream Frosting. Pure heaven! I used this Pillsbury recipe as my guide Click here for the recipe.
