The holiday season is upon us, which means that so is the stress that comes with it. If you are hosting a party, you are extra susceptible. With that stress comes the potential for a weakened immune system, which nobody wants. So as you make your plans, make sure to build in a strategy to minimize your stress level and to take care of you. DLM not only offers food to ease your holiday meal prep, but you’ll find knowledgeable, passionate associates in our Healthy Living department. Here, we’ve assembled survival tips to help you navigate the holiday craze unscathed.

1. Think calm. We have NuNaturals Calm Mind, my personal go-to for helping to have a clear mind when I need it most. This contains a combo of GABA and Suntheanine L-Theanine.

2. Ease your anxiety. Emotions are a main trigger of stress. Kaliana Emotional Support combines essential oils, flower essences, and botanicals into its formulas to target specific emotions. Try Kaliana Calm, my favorite for easing anxiety and helping me relax.

3. Set the mood. Just because the party has started doesn’t mean your work is done. Set calming scents with a decorative Now Diffuser and some warm, refreshing cinnamon and clove Simpler Essential Oil.

4. Build in time to relax. Remember to take a moment for yourself. Exercise also is key to stress reduction. Try enveloping yourself in a Spa Comforts heated shoulder wrap. Unwind with an Aura Cacia bubble bath or add their bath salts to the tub.

5.Get rest. And once you are finally ready for bed, change the essential oil in your diffuser to lavender and put on a Spa Comforts eye mask so you can drift off to sleep knowing you were the best host/hostess possible.
