As you are busily making your holiday plans this season, breathe a sigh of relief as our team of expert bakers will be ramping up our pie baking. In fact, during the months of November and December last year, we sold about 10,000 pies, so we take our pie baking seriously. It all starts with keeping quality front of mind and making pies we’d be happy to serve our own families (and most of us do!).
There is no mystery when it comes to where all of the top-notch, fresh-baked pies come from at Dorothy Lane Market. We’re talking pies made by real people—people who are a part of the DLM family. And just like any good family recipe, many of our recipes have been perfected over the years until the flavor yields ultimate satisfaction with each bite.
Each pie is made using the freshest ingredients when possible, like eggs cracked by hand, sugar, and whole cream. They also are baked in a flaky, all-natural crust (sans the hydrogenated oils).
