DLM Old-Fashioned Preserves

A group of us recently took a field trip to observe how our locally produced DLM Old-Fashioned Preserves are made. We now have a better understanding why we have one of the best preserves in the country. The first ingredient is fruit and we are proud that we more than exceed the standard regulation of 47%. Our preserves are made with Grade A fruits that are sourced from small, family-owned farms in the premium growing regions in the United States. We head west to Oregon for the tastiest Marion blackberries and sweetest strawberries; to the east coast for Maine blueberries; and the best Damson plums and red tart cherries are found in Michigan. We have people tell us that our Damon Plum Preserves is the closest thing to homemade jam! Our Kitchen uses the California Apricot Preserves in their Boneless Apricot Glazed Chicken Breasts and we use the Oregon Strawberry Preserves on the peanut butter sandwiches served in the DLM Lunchboxes. Try a jar and see why we LOVE DLM Preserves!
