DLM Health Fair 2014By: Joy Kemp | Healthy Living Director
On: February 27, 2014
Record low temperatures and lots of snow this winter make me long for spring and our 12th annual Health Fair!
Premier Community Health, a nonprofit organization which is part of Premier Health Partners serving hospital partners in the Dayton and Cincinnati communities, will be offering the following FREE services on the mezzanine: blood pressure; non-fasting finger stick to test cholesterol/HDL/blood sugar; hemoglobin A1c for those who are diagnosed diabetics; colorectal kits; and DermaScan for detecting facial skin cancer. Local holistic and health practitioners such as chiropractors and massage therapists will be available for you to explore as well as a fitness center, autism and special needs resource center, and many more. And be sure to stop for a complimentary chair massage!
Company representatives from our supplement and natural body care lines will be in the Healthy Living department giving away samples and sharing product information. Nordic Naturals, Derma E, Enzymedica, Aloha Bay, Peace of the Earth, Acure Organics, Carlson, and many more will be represented.
There will also be tastings throughout the store from Morning Sun Farms, Hill Family Farm, Éban Bakehouse, Vigilant Eats, Snikiddy Snacks, Made in Nature, Organic Valley, and Seapoint Farms.
Join us in the Community Room for the following informative seminars:
