Spanish Tapas and Wine 

Chef Jenn is back and ready to party! If you love Mediterranean food that is full of big bold flavors this class is a food and wine lover's fiesta! DLM wine educator George will join her and pair Spanish wines to go with Jenn's favorite Spanish Tapas! Gambas al Ajillo - a sizzling garlic shrimp dish, Coca - a Catalonian flatbread with DLM's chicken chorizo; Croquetas; Chili Braised Pork Belly Tacos and to finish on a sweet note;Brazo de Gitano, a custard rolled cake.

French Macaron 

The ultimate confection, the French Macaron will be taught step-by-step by DLM's expert, Ghyslain. The Macaron is deceptively simple - just two piped almond discs filled with a layer of buttercream, jam or ganache but it can be incredibly frustrating for even the most talented home baker. Learn how to perfect this notoriously fickle confection into utter deliciousness! Ghyslain will demonstrate a no-miss Almond Base Macaron and fill them with: Buttercream; Chocolate Ganache, and Raspberry Jam. He will also make a Big Macaron and a Frozen Sandwich Gelato Macaron.

Days of Wine and Rosés 

Love Rosé? Join Chef Carrie and wine educator George Punter for this food and wine pairing class that will explore all the nuances of this cult varietal! We'll get to know how food friendly (and summer perfect) Rosé can be. Did you know that Rosé can handle both meat and fish in one fell sip? Here at DLM we love it for its casual and delicious demeanor. Come join us while we learn to cook up some fun summer items like No Stress Picnic Plate; Chicago Style Hot Dogs; Ratatouille Baked Fish; Roques Beef Carnitas; and Thai Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.

Hill Family Farm Supper 

Special pre-sale event for September 7.

Please join us and the Hill Family for a farm style supper! Ed Hill and family live and farm in Xenia while raising free-roaming chickens that are fed a diet free of antibiotics and animal by-products. Their chickens are sold at Dayton's best restaurants and sold right here at DLM. Ed (a true renaissance man) and his fun loving family will share farm stories and some of their favorite recipes. We'll rustle up all the fixins' of a true Ohio farm supper, full of all of the delicious local ingredients we can get our hands on. Get to know the Hill Family and try some of the best Cast Iron Fried Chicken you'll ever have! This class will be held on Sunday, September 7 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
