Intro to Juicing & Blending 
Find out how to incorporate a mass amount of fruits and veggies into your day! Whether you're an experienced juicer or novice smoothie maker, this class will broaden your knowledge of juicing and blending in the most delicious way. Join Megan Lees and Earl Hatmaker from The Shakery Juice Bar, as they demonstrate and share their tips and tricks on how to juice and blend successfully. Participants will sample each juice and smoothie that is being presented. Light snacks will be served.

Join this class and help Chef Gerrie build an incredible up-scale menu using local foods. These dishes epitomize the beauty of summer's bounty. Sweet Corn Soup Garnished with Roasted Corn Kernels and Chives; Spinach and Arugula Salad with Pickled Baby Beets and Roasted Walnuts garnished with Champignon Grande Noir Blue Ice Cream; Stuffed Beef Tenderloin on Whole Wheat Couscous Dressed with Kalamata Olive Vinaigrette; and Dark Chocolate Soufflé with Raspberry Sauce. This menu will be paired with wine.

Join Katherine, Manager of DLM's LOVE Cakes for this fun class and learn the basics of cake decorating! Katherine will teach students techniques and offer creative ideas for decorating cakes and cupcakes. Each student will go home with their uniquely decorated cake. Snacks will be served.

A few years ago our culinary staff had a Julia Child birthday celebration (Julia's birth date: August 15, 1912). Each of us brought a dish to share using a recipe from one of her cookbooks. Needless to say, it was one of the most delicious pot-lucks any of us had ever been part of! Join us for this class where every recipe demonstrated will be from one of her critically acclaimed books. Julia Child is recognized for bringing French cuisine to the American public and we think this is cause for celebration! Wine Educator Teresa will be here to pair our dishes with French wines!
