Pecan Brown Sugar Shortbread
| 1 cup all-purpose flour |
| 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces |
| 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar |
| 1¼ cups finely chopped pecans |
Preheat oven to 300°F. Place ingredients in the work bowl of a food processor fitted with the steel blade. Pulse on and off until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Pat dough into an ungreased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 300°F for 40 minutes or until shortbread is lightly browned. Cut into squares while still warm.
