Reason: The Kellogg Company is taking a precautionary measure and putting a hold on Austin and Keebler Toasted Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers. The FDA has indicated that the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) is under investigation in the salmonella outbreak thought to be caused by tainted peanut butter. PCA is one of several suppliers of peanut butter to Kellogg. The company has not received any consumer illness complaints, but they are urging you not to eat the product until the investigation has been conducted.
Health or Safety Concern: Voluntary hold- PCA Peanut Butter is under investigation concerning a salmonella outbreak.
