Recipe of the Week: Turkey, Apple, and Cheddar Open-Faced Sandwich

This sandwich makes a simple but hearty meal. It uses our Artisan Ciabatta Bread, which is baked fresh everyday, as well as our DLM All-Natural Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast. Celebrate the bounty of fall with this delicious sandwich made with crisp apples!

An aged, delicate, and sweet milky cheese with a smooth, soft finish.

What is a "black chicken"? It's a new "superfood", due to the bird's high antioxidant content. Used in Chinese medicine for over 1,000 years, it's now available at DLM. Cook with any method you would use for traditional chicken, but it lends itself best to soup and stewing.
