La Spinetta Winemaker Dinner
Join us for a very special evening on Thursday, September 24 with famed Italian producer Giorgio Rivetti, tasting his wine paired with courses prepared by DLM’s Chef Carrie Walters in the DLM School of Cooking. Recognized as one of the finest producers of Piedmonte wine, Rivetti has dominated the influential I Vini d’Italia publication, as well as the Wine Advocate. We rolled out our new sandwich menu this week, and we have 14 new ones for you to try. Look for the The Barcelona, which has the classic flavors of Spain nestled in our crusty fresh French Baguette along with thinly sliced Serrano ham, salty Manchego cheese, fig preserves, and caramelized onions. Or revisit France for lunch with either the Duck Confit, made with Grimaud Farms Duck slices and DLM Apricot Preserves, or the The Charcuterie, filled with country pâté and Dijon mustard. David Glynn is Back!
At the Chef's Table with David Glynn is a five-course wine and food dinner prepared and served around the work table. Think of it as your very own food bar, featuring the best of what’s just in at DLM. Perfect for a couple’s night out, an intimate evening with the chef du jour. Seating is limited. Wednesday, September 30 • 6-9 p.m.
A Day in the Kitchen: Chef David Glynn
David begins with a leisurely shopping trip at the market, and the menu develops according to what looks freshest and best. There are no set menus and no recipes provided for these classes. One or two wines are chosen that the chef feels best complement the menu. Students help prepare dishes with the guidance of the chef and then join together to dine on their creations at the end of the class. These classes offer an intimate and highly educational experience gleaned from one-on-one interaction with the chef, plus a whole lot of fun!
