Recipe of the Week: Deviled Egg Dip
This is a delicious spread or dip for veggies for a light after-holiday way to use up hard-boiled eggs. It's good enough to eat on its own, and also works well as a spread. Fill the inside of celery or use on crackers.

The Best Lamb for Spring Holidays
Ham may be the main choice on many American holiday tables, but worldwide, lamb is the number-one Easter entrée. Lamb's association with new beginnings and spring, as well as being an important protein source in ancient cultures, has made it a natural choice. Why don’t we enjoy lamb more often? Far too many of us Baby Boomers associate lamb with that dry, gamey, overcooked, gray roast served with some green mint jelly we had on occasion in our childhood.

DLM Lamb is U.S.D.A. choice grade or higher. Our lamb is raised by small Colorado ranchers adhering to our strict raising practices. The standards are quite simple: No added hormones or antibiotics ever, no animal by- products used in the feed ever, and animals raised under the best conditions possible with respect to the environment. Succulent, grain-fed lamb that has true, clean flavor and tenderness coming from the marbling of the meat. Save $2.00 lb through Tuesday, April 14.

Food Safety Tip

Chill
Temperature and time cause bacteria to grow, which is why it is so important your refrigerator be cold enough, and you not keep leftovers too long.

An Amazing Rosé for Your Easter Dinner
Wow! Mas de la Dame 2008 Le Baux-de-Provence Rosé is certainly the best new rosé we’ve tasted to date. The wine is made at a 16th-century wine estate in France’s Alpilles Mountain region. Mas de la Dame, or “farm of the women”, is owned by sisters Anne Poniatowski and Caroline Missoffe, who along with famed Rhône vintner Jean-Luc Colombo have re-invigorated the estate and only grow the grapes for the wine organically. This wine is brilliant, from its pretty color to the mouthwatering flavors of wild strawberries, fresh peaches, and floral hint of roses. Yes, my notes even say a hint of Jolly Rancher! Great with many dishes ranging from seafood, to chicken, to barbecue. $16

DLM Foot Scrubs
Get your feet ready for summer with our new locally blended foot scrubs. Using French sea salt and carefully blended with sweet almond oil and essential oils, they are great for smoothing the rough heals and soles of your feet. Available in two fragrances to suit your mood, including invigorating Rosemary Mint and relaxing Lavender Sage. Made exclusively for Dorothy Lane Market, this would be a great addition to an adult or teen's Easter basket.
