Parker House Scrod
Boston’s famed Parker House Omni Hotel created this heavenly recipe which uses cod, haddock, or any other white, flaky, thick fish. Marinate the fish between 30 minutes and two hours, and then bake for only 10-15 minutes. Take advantage of Alaskan Cod Fillets for only $7.99 lb this week. New! Yankee Doodle Deli Pretzels
In 2004, Marilyn Baker’s beautiful Sheltie, Yankee Doodle, died at the age of 12 years. During this sad time, while living in Athens, Ohio, Marilyn cooked and cooked for friends and created flavored pretzels she named “Zels”. In 2007 she moved her company to Covington, Kentucky to produce Cinna-Zels, Spi-Zels, and Honey Gla-Zels. These wonderful pretzels from the Yankee Doodle Deli are sure to become a "must have" snack food in your cabinet. You'll find you cannot stop eating these tasty pretzels!

Goose Island Beer Company Tasting
Join us for an evening of great food and great beers with Goose Island’s Eddie Anderson and DLM’s Rick Vitale and Chef Carrie Walters as we pair DLM created appetizers with Goose Island craft beer. This event will take place at the Wine Shop at Springboro on Thursday, April 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost is $25 and you may register at Springboro Guest Services.

Beginning Baking: Quick Breads
Learn the basics of baking quick breads in Marilou Guy’s hands-on class. The different recipes will produce various flavors, and the use of baking powder as the leavening agent will demonstrate different results. Join us to make Best Banana Bread; Lemon Scones served with Strawberry Jam and English Devon Cream; Touch of Grace Biscuits served with Sausage Gravy and Blueberry Muffins. All About Braising: The Art of Uncomplicated Cooking
Molly Stevens
will demonstrate a selection of favorite recipes from her award-winning book, All About Braising. She will explain the principles of braising, starting with choosing the right pot, the right cut of meat, poultry, or fish, the proper browning technique, the aromatics, the timing, and ultimately how to finish a braise to make a truly memorable dish. You’re in store for a great treat as Molly prepares: Honey-Glazed Five-Spice Baby Back Ribs; Minty Pea Soup with Crispy Pancetta and Sour Cream; Zinfandel Pot Roast with Glazed Carrots and Fresh Sage; Potato and Leek Gratin; and Farmhouse Chocolate Cake.
