Yay! The kids are going back to school. Hopefully, that means back to a scheduled routine and family meals around the dinner table. Are you ready? We are excited about the slew of new and exciting classes this fall. From Along Came a Slider, your guide to a game-winning tailgating menu, to Junior Chefs’ culinary adventures for aspiring cooks. Of course, there will plenty of opportunities to celebrate the fall harvest with classes on apple (pie), pumpkin, and seasonal veggies. With all the spectacular wine and food events, we really have something for everyone.
Be sure to check out Terra d’Oro Winery: The Art of the Blend, a special session with guest instructor Todd Templin, DLM Director of Beer, Wine, & The DLM Cheese Shop, where we will learn to blend our own wine. Or, sign up to hang out with one of Dayton’s top chefs, like Liz Valenti from Wheat Penny Oven and Bar or Dana Downs from Roost Modern Italian. We are also thrilled to introduce you to Megan Smith, proprietor of the new bakery St. Anne the Tart coming soon to Dayton’s Saint Anne’s Hill Historic District. She’ll be joining us a couple of different evenings this fall for topics ranging from desserts to food photography and styling to help you capture those swoon-worthy shots you see all over Instagram.
